Preparations for salt spray test chamber before test

1. The bottom of the salt spray test machine should be added with distilled water, which should not exceed the height of the overflow hole rubber at the bottom of the box to prevent the box from aging.

2. The sealed tank around the upper part of the tank should be filled with distilled water before the test. It should not be too full. It is better to prevent the salt spray from overflowing after closing the lid.

3. Adding distilled water or deionized water to the air saturator (stainless steel drum). The water level deviation is 4/5 of the upper part of the glass tube of the liquid level meter. When adding distilled water, the inlet valve of the upper part of the saturator should be opened.

The valve must be closed when the water level is specified. After a long period of test, the water content of the saturator will be consumed, and the water level will be lowered to the lower 1/5 position.

 The water should be replenished in time to prevent the heating element in the saturator from being burned out after the water shortage.

4. Connect the salt water spray tester to the water inlet at the bottom of the spray tower with a rubber tube, and put the prepared salt solution (at a concentration of 5%) into the water storage tank behind the salt spray chamber.

The salt water is affected by the atmospheric pressure. Automatically flow into the spray tower by balance, the brine should not be lower than the lower limit mark of the storage tank.

5. The salt spray discharged from the exhaust pipe at the rear of the box has an influence on the indoor facilities, allowing the user to lengthen the exhaust pipe so that the discharged salt spray can be discharged outside, but the exhaust pipe cannot be blocked, so as not to affect the salt spray.

There is a drain below the exhaust pipe, and the user should also connect it to the room.

6. The pressure adjustment of the salt spray test machine:

(1)The intake pressure is manually adjusted by the primary pressure regulating valve, generally controlled at 2~4kg/cm;

(2)The spray pressure is adjusted to 0.5~1.7kg/cm by the pressure reducing valve. The above adjustment has been adjusted before leaving the factory, and the user generally does not need to adjust.

7. Put the funnel frame inside the box, and make the rubber tube on the fog collector is connected with the corresponding funnel, so that in the test, the salt inside can be read from the outer mist collector without opening the cover. The amount of fog settlement.

8. Using the salt spray tester to set the test required time.
