Why Has the Compressor of the High and Low Temperature Alternating Humidity Test Chamber Stopped Working?

Source:LINPIN Time:2025-03-26 Category:Industry News

When troubleshooting issues with a high and low temperature alternating humidity test chamber, it is essential to first identify the root cause of the problem. This targeted approach ensures more effective resolution. For example, to address the issue of the compressor not working, we must first understand the reasons behind it.

1. Electrical Circuit Issues:
Poor circuit connections can lead to the compressor not working. Common electrical problems include:

Loose or detached wiring terminals on the compressor motor.
Poor contact of the power plug.
Loose or poor connections at the terminals of the start relay or overload protector.
Power line breakage.
All these issues can prevent the compressor from functioning properly.

2. Faulty Temperature Controller:
When the temperature controller malfunctions, such as due to leakage of the temperature-sensitive agent or severe oxidation of the contacts, the contacts may fail to close properly. This disrupts the compressor circuit, preventing normal operation.

3. Compressor-Related Issues:
The compressor itself may have problems, such as a burnt-out motor or issues with the shaft or piston. Frequent compressor starts are often caused by overcurrent in the circuit. If the start relay fails, the contacts may not release after the compressor starts, preventing the start winding from disconnecting. This results in a running current 5 times higher than normal. Additionally, poor insulation or short circuits in the compressor motor windings can increase the operating current. If the overload protector or relay does not match the compressor specifications, or if the start relay’s pull-in current or overload protector’s trip current is too low, the compressor may start too frequently.

4. Overload Protector or Start Relay Issues:
If the start relay is short-circuited or the overload protector’s heating wire is burnt out, the main circuit will be interrupted, preventing the compressor from starting.

Why Has the Compressor of the High and Low Temperature Alternating Humidity Test Chamber Stopped Working?
You can troubleshoot the issue by checking the above possible causes. Once the specific cause is identified, contact the manufacturer’s personnel for further assistance. Timely resolution of the issue will prevent delays in the normal operation of the equipment.

Thermal shock test chambers come in two main configurations: two-chamber and three-chamber designs. When purchasing this equipment, how should customers decide which structure is more suitable?
By subjecting products to various temperature environments—such as high temperature, low temperature, and alternating humidity—constant temperature and humidity test chambers can evaluate the heat resistance, cold resistance, dryness resistance, and moisture resistance of materials under different climatic conditions.
A high-temperature test chamber is an essential instrument for evaluating the reliability of industrial products under extreme heat conditions. It tests various performance metrics of products exposed to high and low-temperature transitions.
A constant temperature and humidity test chamber is designed to maintain stable temperature and humidity conditions.
Cold and thermal shock test chamber on the market is divided into two categories, a two-compartment type, including high-temperature region and low-temperature region, the test object were in two different temperatures in the area of the test, hot and cold alternating test; the other is a three-compartment type, in addition to high-temperature and low-temperature areas, there is also a test area, and the two-compartment different is that the three-compartment does not need to be directly in the test area for the test, only need to be through the air compression method
